Valley Industrial Trucks Marks 70 Years, Receives CLARK Masters Award

Valley Industrial Trucks, Inc. (VIT) is marking its 70th year in business while also receiving industry recognition from CLARK Material Handling Company.

Founded in 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio, the material handling company has expanded from a small operation on Youngstown-Poland Road into a regional provider serving Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. VIT operates locations in Youngstown and Akron, offering equipment sales, rentals, parts, service and operator training.

Throughout its history, VIT has maintained its role as an authorized CLARK dealer. In 2025, the company was recognized with the CLARK Masters Award, placing it among the top five CLARK dealers in North America and making it a finalist for CLARK Dealer of the Year.

The award is based on performance in several areas, including truck and parts sales, warranty support, training programs and customer service.
