CLARK SMART Telematics Aims to Boost Fleet Efficiency
CLARK introduces SMART Telematics for fleet safety, GPS tracking, incident alerts and remote shutdown with no recurring fees.
CLARK Material Handling Company is rolling out CLARK SMART Telematics, a new technology platform engineered to increase safety, productivity and operational oversight of forklifts and material handling fleets. Available from July 16, the system will be factory-installed on the GTS20‑33, S20‑35, S40‑60 and S20‑32C models.
Once integrated into the vehicle's CAN Bus, CLARK SMART delivers real-time data, remote functionality and comprehensive analytics backed by a five-year service plan without recurring fees.
“CLARK SMART puts control and insight into the hands of our customers like never before,” said Brandon Bullard, vice president of sales at CLARK Material Handling Company. “This solution is another example of how CLARK is driving innovation to help our dealers and customers operate safer, smarter and more efficiently.”
The system offers GPS tracking with remote shutdown, real-time accident alerts, digital pre-shift inspections that can trigger safe-mode or shutdowns for non-compliance, operator-specific access, service alerts, rental hour monitoring and web-based analytics.
