Sunstate Equipment Expands Trench Safety Division in North Georgia

Sunstate Equipment has opened a new Trench Safety Rentals branch in Gainesville, Georgia, expanding its footprint in the state to five locations. The company now operates three general rental branches and two dedicated to trench shoring equipment.

“Gainesville is a rapidly growing market in North Georgia,” said Kendell Holmes, district manager – trench. “This branch helps us support the region’s infrastructure expansion while ensuring contractors have the best and newest products to complete projects safely and efficiently.”

The Gainesville facility is located north of Atlanta and is positioned to serve projects extending into Tennessee and South Carolina. Together with Sunstate’s existing Conley trench location, the new branch increases the availability of trench shoring and confined space equipment for excavation and underground projects across northern Georgia.

Since its founding in 1977, Sunstate has supplied equipment for general construction, industrial and trench safety needs. Holmes noted that the Gainesville branch will allow the company to strengthen customer support while also contributing to local job creation.

“This branch allows us to deepen our support for customers already active in the area while also investing in local job creation,” Holmes said. “It’s an exciting step forward in our service delivery and community commitment.”
