Sunstate Equipment Opens Greensboro Branch, Expands North Carolina Presence

Sunstate Equipment has opened a new rental branch in Greensboro, North Carolina, expanding its statewide network to four locations, including a specialized trench safety branch.

The Greensboro site is strategically located between Sunstate’s Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham branches, allowing for faster response times and greater equipment availability across the Piedmont Triad. The branch will support infrastructure, commercial, residential, landscaping and tourism-related projects in the rapidly growing region.

“Greensboro will enhance our ability to bring reliable, world-class rental solutions to our construction partners throughout the major cities of North Carolina,” said Jason King, region vice president at Sunstate Equipment.

Founded in 1977, Sunstate provides rental equipment for construction, industrial and trench safety applications. The company’s fleet supports a wide range of projects, from manufacturing facilities and roadways to residential developments.

The new Greensboro branch is located at 105 South Swing Rd., Greensboro, NC 27409. 

Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a national provider of construction rental equipment. The company was acquired in 2017 by Sumitomo Corporation, positioning it for continued growth across the United States.
