Perkins plans to highlight a range of diesel engine platforms designed for rental equipment applications at The ARA Show 2026, scheduled for March 2–4 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Exhibiting in booth 2255, the company will focus on engines used in construction and industrial rental machinery, including pumps, compressors, welders, mobile generator sets, compact track loaders, skid steer loaders and mini excavators. According to the company, the engine lineup is intended to support rental fleet requirements tied to uptime, serviceability and durability.

“The rental industry is more competitive than ever, and rental solutions have to exceed expectations for reliability, durability and ease of use,” said Corey Berry, global rental sales and marketing manager for Perkins. “We’re poised with power solutions and technical resources specifically aimed at helping rental companies maximize their uptime, expedite the return-to-ready process, provide a clear line of communication for support and instill confidence in rental operators when using machines powered by Perkins.”

Among the engines on display will be the Perkins 904 Series 3.6-liter (pictured above), a four-cylinder engine rated up to 121 horsepower (90 kW) and compliant with U.S. Tier 4 Final emissions standards. The engine is designed for compact construction equipment such as small telehandlers and skid steer loaders and is offered in multiple configurations to accommodate space-constrained engine bays.

Perkins will also showcase the Perkins 404J-E22T, part of the 400 Series engine range. The engine is designed for compact construction and industrial machinery commonly found in rental fleets, including mini excavators, loaders and material-handling equipment. Perkins reports that the engine delivers increased torque capability and supports operation across different emissions territories.

In addition to engines, Perkins will present information on its Perkins Rental Support Program, which is designed to assist rental operations with maintenance planning, parts access and service efficiency. The program includes participation in the SmartEquip network, providing digital access to parts manuals and ordering tools.
