New Holland Introduces Three New D-Series Compact Wheel Loaders

New Holland Construction is expanding its compact wheel loader offerings with the introduction of the W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach models. The new D-Series machines are expected to be available during the third quarter of 2026.

The new loaders are designed for landscaping, construction, material handling and agricultural applications and provide additional options for customers looking to match machine size and performance to specific job requirements.

“Segments like landscaping and construction crews are expected to accomplish more than ever in a single day, while often times moving between multiple jobsites and changing up applications multiple times,” said Dan Kakareka, product manager for New Holland Construction North America. “The new W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach Compact Wheel Loaders give crews the ability to perform more tasks with a single machine, helping businesses make the most out of their time, labor and equipment investment.”

The new machines feature a hydraulic skid steer-style coupler that allows operators to switch attachments from inside the cab. Compatible attachments include buckets, pallet forks, tree spades and bale spears, allowing crews to handle a variety of tasks with one machine.

New Holland said the machines are designed to work in confined spaces while minimizing ground disturbance, making them suitable for residential and commercial projects.

A redesigned cab focuses on operator comfort and visibility. Features include a heated air-ride seat with integrated joystick controls, a lower front console, a larger windshield and improved sightlines to the attachment and work area. A display mounted on the right-side A-pillar provides machine information within the operator's line of sight.

The loaders also include a multifunction joystick and standard features such as ride control, cruise control, creep mode, return-to-dig, return-to-dump and return-to-travel. Operators can customize boom and bucket response speeds to fit different applications.

Advanced hydraulics use flow-sharing and load-sensing capabilities to adjust hydraulic flow for improved efficiency and fuel savings. The machines can also travel at speeds up to 25 mph to help crews move quickly between work areas.

Safety features include improved visibility, a rearview camera, backup alarm and LED lighting package, with an optional four-corner strobe kit available for low-light conditions.

Each compact wheel loader comes with seven years of telematics connectivity through myNewHollandConstruction, allowing fleet owners to monitor machine location, operating hours, maintenance schedules and equipment health.

Ordering will be available through New Holland Construction dealerships during the third quarter of 2026.
