JLG Industries has introduced the E25MCL vertical mast lift to the North American market, adding a higher-reaching model to its vertical mast lift product line.

The electric-powered machine is designed for applications including data centers, facilities maintenance, commercial construction, and industrial environments. It has a compact footprint and a narrow chassis intended for maneuvering in confined indoor spaces.

The E25MCL provides a 25-foot platform height and 31-foot working height. It also has a zero inside turning radius to help maneuver around obstacles in tight areas.

The machine has a standard platform capacity of 350 pounds and a deck extension capacity of 265 pounds.

The E25MCL is the first JLG vertical mast lift to feature progressive elevated drive technology. The system adjusts travel speed as the platform is raised, according to JLG.

The machine also features JLG's Variable Tilt Technology, which is available on select JLG scissor lifts. The technology is designed to maximize the machine's work envelope when operating on slight slopes.

For work areas where surface protection is a concern, the E25MCL includes a leak containment system. Built-in trays are designed to contain 100% of the machine's hydraulic fluid.

“As modern job site needs change, access equipment must evolve,” says Kristine Baisa, senior product specialist, JLG. “Like JLG’s E18 vertical mast lift models, the all-new E25MCL has been engineered with operator productivity, serviceability and job site versatility in mind. At the same time, it takes the next step forward in our vertical mast lift offering by bringing increased reach and productivity-focused technologies to a compact machine designed for space-constrained applications.”

The E25MCL comes standard with flooded lead-acid batteries, with AGM and lithium-ion options available. Its batteries are located under the hood, while the machine also incorporates simplified harness routing and a reduced overall parts count.

JLG ClearSky Smart Fleet connectivity comes standard on the E25MCL, providing fleet management capabilities.

An available SkySense with Collision Avoidance system provides object detection designed to give alerts and support operator awareness in certain operating conditions.

“The E25MCL demonstrates how JLG is applying proven, value-added technologies across its access equipment portfolio to expand machine capabilities,” says Baisa. “By bringing technologies already used on JLG scissor lifts into our vertical mast lift line, we can continue to develop solutions that address changing job site needs, support machine uptime and improve operator productivity.”
