AXCS Equipment Introduces Serial-Specific QR Codes for Machine Support
AXCS Equipment launches serial-specific QR codes that provide machine manuals, service information and parts resources by equipment serial number.
AXCS Equipment has introduced serial-specific QR code decals across select equipment lines, giving operators, owners, and service teams direct access to machine-specific information through mobile devices.
The updated QR codes identify an individual machine by its serial number rather than an equipment series, allowing users to access resources specific to that unit without manually searching the company's website.
“We are constantly looking for new ways to maximize efficiency and support for our customers, and these updated QR codes are a perfect example of that commitment,” said Eric Liner, CEO of AXCS Equipment. “By linking directly to a machine's specific serial number, we are drastically reducing the time it takes for both operators and owners to find the exact resources they need, keeping equipment maintained and jobsites productive.”
The new system builds on AXCS Equipment's custom QR code program introduced in 2021. While the original version directed users to information for an entire equipment series, the updated decals route users directly to information for the scanned machine.
For operators and rental customers, scanning the QR code provides access to the appropriate operation manual, pre-start inspections, and other safety resources.
Equipment owners and rental companies can also use the serial-specific system to access service manuals, search service bulletins, and locate replacement parts that match the scanned machine. In addition, users can create a service ticket that is automatically associated with the equipment and submit comments directly to the manufacturer for that specific unit.
The updated decals are currently available on recently shipped Pro Series and Zero Turn models. AXCS Equipment said implementation on EL and TH series machines is planned for a later date.
AXCS Equipment manufactures access and material handling equipment, including scissor lifts, telehandlers, and upcoming vertical mast lifts.
