ABOUT AED THE ASSOCIATION OF LEADERS IN EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) is an international trade association representing companies involved in the distribution, rental and support of equipment used in construction, mining, forestry, power generation, agriculture and industrial applications. AED serves: >Independent distributors that sell, rent, and provide aftermarket support for heavy equipment and related equipment and products >Manufacturers of heavy and related equipment and products >Suppliers of business services, including finance, insurance, business systems/ERP and others AED has many core strengths, but most notably, it’s our ability to speak with one unified voice as an industry. The organization finds success in many ways; mainly, it’s through our ability to maintain excellent relationships with dealer principals and professionals in manufacturing through understanding the challenges that they face in their specific business operations. There are not very many members of AED who are not active in AED. Primarily, that is due to the fact that you can’t fully recognize the value of your membership unless you’re participating in the association, in taking advantage of the programs and services that your dues dollars have gone to support.

ABOUT AEM Advancing equipment manufacturers in the global marketplace; our passion is to not only see your business succeed, but to create a community where we, as an industry, can make positive and lasting change CORE PURPOSE AEM is the leading organization in North America advancing construction and agriculture equipment manufacturers and their value chain partners in the global marketplace. In enabling growth together, AEM and its members build momentum for the equipment manufacturing industry and the markets it serves. AEM HISTORY The Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) robust history began 125+ years ago from a unique vantage point – its industry segments came together to create a fundamentally more powerful voice and advocate for the off-road equipment manufacturing industry. For more than a century, the AEM has provided a manufacturer forum for industry- wide action that transcends individual member company size, product line or individual business concerns. Companies participating in AEM work together for the betterment of the industry and public needs, at the state, national, provincial and international levels. WATCH OUT STORY: https://youtu.be/ShJBq88AdPw AEM built on the successes and continued the legacy of its founding groups – the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association (CIMA) and the Equipment Manufacturers Institute (EMI). Both groups had a common goal – advocating for better roads that brought products to market faster, safer and more efficiently.
