Yanmar Introduces Ycare Extended Warranty for Compact Equipment

Yanmar Compact Equipment has launched Ycare, a new extended warranty program for its line of compact machines and attachments. The program is designed to offer customers flexible protection options that extend the life and value of their equipment.

Ycare is intended to complement Yanmar’s standard base warranty by providing up to three additional years or 3,000 machine hours of coverage. For example, when combined with the existing warranty on Yanmar mini excavators, the total protection can extend up to seven years or 7,000 hours. The program applies to all Yanmar compact equipment, including attachments.

“With Ycare, we’re delivering on our commitment to provide ongoing support, long after the sale,” said Buck Storlie, director of aftermarket, Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. “This program gives our customers confidence in their equipment and strengthens relationships with our dealers by making service and support more convenient than ever.”

Customers can choose from three protection levels — Comprehensive, Powertrain and Powertrain Plus Hydraulics — depending on their operational needs. All service is performed by authorized Yanmar dealers to ensure quality and consistency. Ycare plans also streamline service management by covering both standard warranty and extended plan repairs through one provider.

The extended warranty is fully transferable if the machine is sold, potentially increasing its resale value. Plans can be purchased at any point during the machine’s base warranty period, offering added flexibility for owners and fleet managers.

In addition to Ycare, Yanmar Compact Equipment North America has also launched MAX-Guard, an extended warranty program tailored for the ASV product line.
