Stellar Expands Construction Equipment Portfolio with Elliott Acquisition
Stellar Industries will acquire Elliott Equipment Company, adding utility, construction and lifting equipment to its portfolio.
Stellar Industries announced on December 1, 2025, that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Elliott Equipment Company. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending customary closing conditions.
Elliott Equipment Company is a U.S. manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial work platforms, digger derricks and cranes serving the utility infrastructure, municipal, construction and sign and lighting markets. Founded in 1948, the company designs equipment for utility transmission, commercial construction, municipal services and fleet maintenance applications.
“Stellar has always pursued growth opportunities that align with our culture, vision and commitment to excellence,” said Dave Zrostlik, president of Stellar. “The addition of Elliott Equipment Company represents an exciting step forward as we continue to build upon our shared values of quality, innovation and customer service. We’re proud to welcome Elliott to the Stellar team.”
After the transaction closes, Elliott Equipment Company will continue operating as a distinct business unit within Stellar. Its current workforce, facilities, brand identity and dealer relationships in Omaha, Nebraska will remain in place. Jim Glazer will continue as president of Elliott Equipment Company.
“We are thrilled to continue the Elliott Equipment Company story with Stellar,” said Glazer. “This acquisition represents a strong cultural fit between two organizations that share a commitment to people, product integrity and long-term growth.”
Stellar is a 100% employee-owned company operating under an ESOP structure. With the addition of Elliott, the company will broaden its offerings in aerial work platforms, utility lifting solutions and material-handling technologies while continuing U.S.-based manufacturing operations.
