Skyjack has launched the SJ3232 E electric drive slab scissor lift, expanding its lineup of compact access equipment. The new model was announced January 28, 2026, by Skyjack, a division of Linamar Corporation.

Designed for indoor and outdoor applications, the SJ3232 E features a narrow width and a machine length of 91.5 inches (2.32 meters), allowing it to operate in tight spaces where both reach and maneuverability are required. The scissor lift is drivable at full height and does not require stabilizers.

The SJ3232 E offers a working height of 37 feet, seven inches (11.46 meters) and a platform capacity of 550 pounds (249 kilograms). It uses an electric drive system that produces zero emissions and is intended to support lower operating costs and higher utilization in rental fleets.

The lift is equipped with a rear-wheel brushless electric drive system that provides fully proportional drive and lift controls, along with a 25% gradeability rating. An adaptive variable speed system allows automatic transitions between high and low speeds when operating on grades.

“The narrow width and compact length of the SJ3232 E provides superior maneuverability and functionality,” said Charlie Patterson, Skyjack president. “Skyjack’s slab scissors are known for reliability, durability and serviceability. We are thrilled to see our simply electric, zero-emission E-Drive scissor line grow and continue to serve the rental industry.”

The SJ3232 E includes a steel anti-slip platform, multiple lanyard attachment points and a manually operated three-foot (0.90-meter) roll-out extension deck. A modular rail system allows the rails to fold down for reduced transport height.

According to Skyjack, the model also features onboard digital diagnostics that display real-time system information and load sensing data without requiring plug-in calibration.

“The new SJ3232 E has easy-to-understand control systems, with an on-board digital diagnostics display that allows operators to see real-time, simple language readouts and load-sensing information. No plug-in calibration is necessary for day-to-day troubleshooting, all major service points are easily accessible and common parts across our slab scissor range make for straightforward maintenance and repairs,” said Corey Connolly, Skyjack’s head of product management. “Additionally, Skyjack’s ECO mark supports customers by outlining the environmental performance and long-term sustainability of our machines.”

The SJ3232 E is available in North America and Europe and will be displayed at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas from March 3 to March 7.
