Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) is holding the 2026 Antarctic Auction, offering equipment, machinery, and rare, historical items from the United States Antarctic Program. This online event, hosted by Six Mile, LLC, features machinery unique, rugged, and specialized equipment used at McMurdo Station. For more details, visit Six Mile 2026 Antarctic Auction Group.

According to the company, the auction will feature inventory across multiple categories, including industrial machinery, laboratory supplies, field gear and rolling stock vehicles. The equipment has been used to support operations in Antarctica and is being made available to the public through the sale.

The event will include public preview days on May 20 and 21, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PST at Naval Base Ventura County. Access to the base requires a Bill of Lading, and interested parties must request documentation in advance.

The auction is scheduled to go live on May 26, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. PST and will close on May 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PST. Bidding will take place exclusively online through the BidWrangler platform, with participation available via the auction website or the Six Mile Auction App.

Six Mile, LLC, a subsidiary of Gana-A’Yoo, Limited, provides support services for the U.S. Antarctic Program and facilitates the redistribution of surplus materials. Additional details, including item listings and bidding information, are expected to be released ahead of the auction.
