Peterbilt Adds Electric Trucks to Sourcewell Contract

Peterbilt Motors Company has expanded its cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell and its Canadian partner, Canoe Procurement Group, to include Peterbilt’s battery-electric vehicle lineup.

The agreement, which runs through July 2028, provides Sourcewell’s more than 50,000 member organizations with access to competitively solicited contracts covering Peterbilt’s Class 5 through Class 8 vehicles. The lineup includes on-highway, vocational, medium-duty, and electric vehicle configurations.

The agreement is available to government, education, nonprofit, and tribal organizations across the U.S. and Canada. It provides pre-negotiated pricing and terms and is intended to streamline the procurement process for participating organizations.

Sourcewell also provides procurement support intended to reduce the time and resources required for bidding while maintaining procurement compliance. Membership is free for eligible organizations and does not include fees or purchase obligations.

Authorized Peterbilt dealers across North America sell directly under the contract, providing members with local service and support.

The agreement expands Sourcewell purchasing options to include Peterbilt’s battery-electric vehicles alongside its diesel and natural gas offerings. Peterbilt manufactures Class 5 through Class 8 trucks for on-highway and vocational applications.
