Palm Beach SWA Schedules April 25 Equipment Auction
Palm Beach SWA to host April 25 auction featuring heavy equipment, vehicles and surplus assets at landfill site.
The Solid Waste Authority (SWA) of Palm Beach County has announced an absolute public auction of surplus and capital assets set for April 25, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida. The auction will be managed by the Graham Auction Company and will include heavy equipment, vehicles and industrial machinery.
The event will take place at the main entrance of the SWA Landfill, located at 6610 N. Jog Rd. Onsite registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with bidding scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
The auction is structured as an absolute auction, meaning all items will be sold to the highest bidder without minimum bids or reserve prices. Equipment available includes excavators, loaders, road tractors and transfer trailers, along with service trucks, pickup trucks and SUVs. Additional surplus items include light towers, scissor lifts, utility carts and rolloff containers.
Interested buyers can participate either in person or online. Onsite bidders may register the morning of the event, while online bidders can register through Proxibid and EquipmentFacts. A 5% internet premium may apply to online purchases.
A public preview is scheduled for April 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., allowing potential bidders to inspect equipment. An additional one-hour inspection period will be available on the morning of the auction prior to bidding.
All sales are final. Individual buyers purchasing vehicles are required to initiate title transfers and provide proof before equipment is released. While onsite bidders are not subject to a buyer’s premium, the Solid Waste Authority does not provide towing or loading services. Purchased items are generally required to be removed by the Wednesday following the auction.
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County was established in 1975 as a dependent special district responsible for managing the county’s waste and recyclables. Its system includes renewable energy facilities that process approximately 1.8 million tons of waste annually, generating electricity for more than 74,000 homes.
