Mid Country Machinery Expands Rental Network in Nebraska
Mid Country Machinery opens a Blair, Nebraska location to improve equipment access and reduce contractor downtime.
Mid Country Machinery (MCM) is expanding its operations with the opening of a new MCM Rents location in Blair, Nebraska, scheduled for May. The new branch is designed as a rental and service hub intended to improve equipment access and reduce downtime for contractors across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.
The Blair location will focus primarily on equipment rentals while also supporting used equipment sales and service. It will offer a range of aerial and compact construction equipment from brands including JLG, Hitachi, SkyTrak and SANY.
Positioned near MCM’s Sioux City location, the new branch will operate within a shared network, allowing for expanded fleet availability and coordinated equipment access across multiple locations. This approach is intended to strengthen service coverage throughout Omaha, Fremont, Tekamah, Missouri Valley and surrounding areas.
Prior to this expansion, contractors in the region often faced travel times of up to an hour to access equipment or service. The Blair location is expected to reduce response times and improve service accessibility, helping contractors maintain productivity on job sites.
“This new location allows us to be closer to our customers and respond faster when they need us most,” said Phil Duane, general manager of Mid Country Machinery. “Whether it’s equipment availability or service in the field, our goal is to reduce downtime and help contractors and operators stay productive. This expansion strengthens our ability to do exactly that.”
The facility will be staffed by a team of three to four employees, including Level 3-certified technicians and a dedicated on-road service technician to provide field support. Shop operations will be managed by experienced professionals with backgrounds in equipment service and Deutz engines.
MCM stated that the Blair branch is intended to deliver the same level of service established across its Iowa locations while adapting to regional equipment needs.
