Mack Expands GuardDog Connect With Allison Integration
Mack launches Allison monitoring in GuardDog Connect, now standard across all powertrains after a 100% satisfaction pilot.
Mack Trucks has launched full commercial availability of its Allison Transmission monitoring within the GuardDog Connect telematics system. The expanded service, now available across all Mack powertrains, follows a pilot program that achieved a 100% customer satisfaction rate.
The integration allows Mack customers to receive direct Allison Diagnostic Trouble Code data and other parameters through GuardDog Connect’s 24/7 monitoring service. Customers benefit from a single point of contact for powertrain-related service rather than coordinating with multiple providers.
“The pilot program results exceeded our expectations,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “Achieving 100% customer satisfaction validates our commitment to making Mack easy to do business with. We’re now ready to extend these proven benefits to customers across our entire powertrain lineup.”
Fleet operators who participated in the pilot reported operational improvements. Waste Pro USA noted the value of real-time alerts for critical issues such as overheating or low oil pressure, while Eagle Rock Concrete emphasized the clarity provided by the fault code notifications.
The expanded service includes enhanced diagnostics, retroactive access for compatible vehicles, and improved coordination for mixed-fleet operations. It is available to all Mack customers with Integrated Uptime subscriptions at no additional charge.
