Kubota North America Donates Equipment and Funds for Texas Flood Clean-Up
Kubota North America supports Texas flood recovery with $100,000 and construction equipment for clean-up efforts in Kerr County.
In response to severe flooding in Central Texas over the Fourth of July weekend, Kubota North America (KNA) has committed $100,000 and construction equipment to support relief and clean-up efforts in Kerrville and nearby communities.
Working alongside local Kubota dealers Ewald Kubota in Fredericksburg and Texas Ag Equipment in Alpine, Kubota is channeling donations through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
“We’re all heartbroken by what happened in Kerr County and the surrounding communities,” said Alex Woods, president of Kubota Tractor Corporation. “The scale of the devastation and the loss experienced by so many families is difficult to comprehend. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, especially those still waiting for news about loved ones. We hope that our assistance can offer meaningful support to first responders, recovery teams and local residents as they work through the difficult and ongoing process of debris removal, clean-up and recovery. Kubota stands with these communities as they face the challenging days ahead.”
Kubota also announced a matching gift campaign for employees, pledging up to an additional $25,000 for the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. The company emphasized its ongoing commitment to aiding communities where its customers, dealers and employees live and work.
