JLG Expands Transport Options With Enhanced Jerr-Dan 15-Ton LP Industrial Carrier

JLG Industries has introduced an enhanced version of the Jerr-Dan 15-Ton LP Industrial Carrier, expanding transportation options for rental, construction and industrial fleets. The updated carrier is designed to support equipment transport needs for high-utilization fleets and was showcased at The ARA Show 2026, held March 2 tp 4 in Orlando, Florida.

According to JLG, the enhanced Jerr-Dan 15-Ton LP Industrial Carrier is intended to help rental companies transport heavy construction equipment, including mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers. The carrier is built to support fleet operations with multiple configuration options and features focused on durability, transportation flexibility and operator usability.

“At the core of the new carrier is a 30,000-pound structural deck capacity, with multiple deck lengths — ranging from 24 to 30 feet — and material options including Apitong wood, traction plate decking over wood or steel diamond plate over wood,” the company said. JLG noted that these configuration choices are designed to accommodate varying equipment types and regional operating conditions.

The carrier also includes options intended to support loading and recovery operations. Available configurations include 20,000-pound worm gear or planetary winches with air-free spool functionality. Rear towing options include a 5,000-pound wheel lift, pintle hitch configurations with manual or hydraulic extension and an available hydraulic rear dock stabilizer.

JLG said the updated carrier incorporates several operator-focused features intended to support safety and ease of use in rental and jobsite environments. Available options include dual lighted side controls, wireless remote-control functionality, LED lighting, rear awareness indicator lights (RAIL) and a backup camera system. Other available features include anti-slip paint on rubrails, folding access ladders, chain racks and traffic cone storage.

The carrier is designed for mounting on chassis with a minimum gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 46,000 pounds, providing support for heavy-duty transport applications.
