Inspeq to Conduct Live Cross-Continent Equipment Inspection Test
Inspeq will conduct a live remote inspection of heavy equipment across North America, Europe and Africa in one hour using AI workflows.
Inspeq will conduct a live demonstration of its AI-powered inspection platform on July 8, 2026, testing remote equipment inspection capabilities across three continents in a single one-hour session.
The company, developed by industrial technology firm Krank, will showcase its Remote Work Orders feature during a livestream titled “The Triple.” The event will be broadcast on LinkedIn and will involve a single inspector coordinating three heavy equipment inspections from Cambridge, working with on-site teams in North America, Europe and Africa.
The Remote Work Orders system enables inspectors to conduct and direct inspections remotely using structured workflows, live video communication and centralized reporting tools. On-site personnel assist with equipment while inspection findings are documented within the Inspeq platform in real time.
Dealers participating in the demonstration include CGT in Italy, BLC Plant in South Africa and Sunstate Equipment in the United States.
The inspection sequence begins with a CAT Compact Track Loader in Italy, followed by a CAT Motor Grader in South Africa and concludes with a JLG Telescopic Boom Lift in the United States.
The company states that the system is designed to support inspection programs by reducing travel requirements and improving turnaround time while maintaining consistency in reporting.
Traditional heavy equipment inspections typically require inspectors to travel to machine locations, which can increase time and cost in transaction and asset evaluation processes. Inspeq’s model is designed to introduce a remote workflow alternative.
Mark Turner, CEO of Krank and Inspeq, said: “We are taking a real risk with this attempt, but we believe in Inspeq's capabilities. If we can successfully inspect three machines across three continents in one hour, the conversation stops being about whether remote inspections are possible and starts becoming about how quickly the industry adopts them.”
He also added: “The most valuable resource in inspection will always be expertise. The future belongs to organisations that can deploy that expertise instantly, wherever equipment is located. Our role is to build the infrastructure that makes that possible.”
The livestream will take place 8 July 2026 from 14:00–15:30 BST.
