Hydraulic Technologies Forms Heavy Lift Solutions Segment
Hydraulic Technologies forms Heavy Lift Solutions segment to integrate lifting, skidding and transport technologies.
Hydraulic Technologies announced the formation of a new Heavy Lift Solutions segment, combining multiple technologies into a single platform for handling heavy industrial equipment.
The new segment brings together capabilities from Power Team, Hydra-Slide and Foxtrot. The integration is designed to address vertical lifting, horizontal movement and positioning of heavy loads through one coordinated system, supported by a global distribution and service network.
According to the company, Power Team systems provide synchronized hydraulic lifting with multi-point configurations, including Motion Control Systems capable of handling loads of thousands of tons. Hydra-Slide equipment supports horizontal movement with low-profile skidding systems designed for environments with limited overhead clearance, handling loads up to 1,000 tons. Foxtrot technology adds motorized robotic dollies that enable omnidirectional movement in confined spaces, with remote operation and no track installation required, supporting loads between 10 and 60 tons.
“The formation of our Heavy Lift Solutions segment represents an important milestone in our growth strategy. By combining the hydraulic strength of Power Team, the load-moving expertise of Hydra-Slide, and Foxtrot's innovative robotic technologies, we are delivering a powerful set of solutions to help customers move heavy equipment more safely, efficiently and precisely,” said Brad Sterner, CEO of Hydraulic Technologies.
The company stated that the new segment is intended to simplify project execution for industries such as construction, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, and mining where multiple vendors are often required for lifting and positioning operations.
Hydraulic Technologies also introduced the Synchronous Hydraulic Power Unit (SHPU Series), designed to deliver synchronized hydraulic power across multiple lift points for complex operations.
