Hoffman Haulers Wins 2025 Trailer for a Cause Auction
Hoffman Haulers wins the 2025 Trailer for a Cause auction with a $5,900 bid supporting Ivy’s Legacy Foundation.
Hoffman Haulers, LLC. secured the winning bid in the 2025 Trailer for a Cause auction conducted by Felling Trailers, Inc., with 100% of proceeds benefiting Ivy’s Legacy Foundation. The online auction concluded on November 1 with a final bid of $5,900 for a custom FT-3 drop-deck utility trailer.
Owners Alex and Jess Hoffman participated in the auction after following the annual event for several years. “I have been aware of the trailers that Felling donates over the years and have always thought it was a cool idea for the community and for all the organizations they have helped through donations,” stated Alex. “In the back of my mind, I always thought someday if they had a green color that worked for our company (Hoffman Haulers), and if we had the means that year, we would at least bid on it, and this was the year.”
As the auction closed, Alex entered a final bidding exchange and secured the winning bid minutes before the deadline. “When we finally got the winning bid, we were so happy to win it! And for us, the added bonus of the proceeds going to such a great local charity that does so much for the families in need around our community makes it even better,” said Alex.
The FT-3 trailer was painted a custom “Ivy Green” with black pinstriping and featured the Ivy’s Legacy Foundation emblem. Industry suppliers sponsored the build, including Trans-Texas, PPG, Dexter, Sealco, Peterson, Demco and Pacific Rim. The auction ran for nine days and ended during the foundation’s Sweet Sixteen Trivia Night fundraiser.
One week after the trailer pickup, Ivy’s Legacy Foundation board members received a $5,900 check from Felling Trailers. “We are so honored to have been chosen as the 2025 recipient for the 2025 Trailer for a Cause. The proceeds from this one-of-a-kind trailer auction will go directly back to our community, and our board is honored to steward this contribution,” stated Nicki Vogt, founder of Ivy’s Legacy Foundation.
