Handy Rents Expands Northeast Ohio Presence with Streetsboro Opening

Handy Rents, a locally owned and operated equipment rental company based in Eastlake, Ohio, announced the opening of a new location in Streetsboro. This marks the company’s seventh facility and expands its reach into western Portage County, including Streetsboro, Aurora, Hudson, Kent and Twinsburg.

“With excellent visibility from the highway and immediate access to major routes, our Streetsboro location is set to become a strategic hub for Handy Rents," said President Patrick Miller. "The nearly 13,000-square-foot facility situated on 2.5 acres gives us the space and flexibility to better serve both homeowners and contractors in the Streetsboro, Aurora, Hudson, Kent and Twinsburg markets. This expansion enhances our ability to reach more customers quickly while strengthening our brand presence across Northeast Ohio."

Formerly an equipment dealer, the newly renovated facility now offers a wide range of rental equipment from manufacturers including Genie, Haulotte, Husqvarna, John Deere and Kubota.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on July 16, 2025, with demonstrations, facility tours, raffles and community giveaways. Attendees included representatives from Congressman David P. Joyce’s office, Mayor Glenn M. Broska, city officials, customers and Handy Rents employees.

With equipment ranging from lawn tools to excavators, forklifts and contractor supplies, Handy Rents continues to be a reliable partner for general contractors, builders and industrial users throughout Northeast Ohio.
