The Green Truck Summit, the technology conference that opens Work Truck Week, is expanding its scope in 2026 to include new sessions on data usage, connected vehicles and artificial intelligence (AI). The additional topics come from the integration of the Commercial Vehicle Data Exchange Special Session into the program.

Work Truck Week 2026 is scheduled for March 10 to 13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The event includes the Green Truck Summit on March 10, educational sessions from March 10 to 12 and Work Truck Show exhibits from March 11 to 13. The weeklong program is produced by NTEA – The Work Truck Association.

Since its launch in 2009 with a focus on hybrids and alternative fuels, the Green Truck Summit has broadened its attention to technologies that influence sustainability, productivity and efficiency in commercial vehicles.

“In an era of rapid transformation, organizations across the commercial vehicle industry are continually pushing boundaries: advancing new fuel types and reducing emissions, designing and engineering safer and more-productive vehicles, pioneering innovative technologies and hardware and leading the charge in cutting-edge software,” said Kevin Koester, NTEA managing director. “In this environment, solid data analysis becomes an important tool to effectively deploy advancing technology. Green Truck Summit helps industry professionals integrate proven solutions into their operations, explore emerging innovations and anticipate the challenges of tomorrow in an industry that never stands still.”

The 2026 summit will feature three one-hour general sessions covering upfitting practices, advanced driver-assistance system integration and broader technology shifts. Attendees will also be able to select from nine 45-minute breakout sessions on topics such as energy density, telematics, AI use in fleet operations, duty cycle analysis, connected vehicle technology and economic indicators.

Green Truck Summit registrants may attend any Work Truck Week breakout sessions from March 10 to 12. The conference package includes access to Work Truck Show exhibits, the ride & drive event and the opening reception. After the show concludes, attendees will be able to access select breakout session materials on demand.

The Green Truck Summit takes place at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, which is connected to the Indiana Convention Center. More details, including schedules and speaker information, are available at worktruckweek.com/greentrucksummit. Early bird registration for Work Truck Week closes February 13, 2026.
