The Green Truck Summit at Work Truck Week 2026 will open with a keynote address from Ian Hucker, vice president of GM Envolve, on March 10 in Indianapolis. His presentation will explore how multi-stage commercial vehicles are evolving in response to advances in powertrains, connectivity, vehicle design and equipment integration.

Work Truck Week runs March 10–13, 2026, at the Indiana Convention Center and includes educational programming, The Work Truck Show, Ride & Drive events and the NTEA Annual Meeting. Green Truck Summit, held March 10, serves as the technology-focused kickoff to the week.

Hucker leads General Motors’ fleet and commercial operations through GM Envolve, overseeing vehicle offerings and integrated fleet solutions. His work includes OnStar-based telematics, diagnostics and safety software intended to help streamline fleet operations.

“With his extensive background in senior sales leadership across the global commercial vehicle industry, Ian Hucker understands the technological forces and customer demands that are driving us forward,” says Kevin Koester, NTEA managing director. “His unique grasp of the dynamics that underpin customer expectations makes him an ideal keynoter to set the tone for the 2026 Green Truck Summit.”

During the keynote, Hucker will discuss projected developments over the next five to 10 years and how leading chassis manufacturers are adapting to future requirements for multi-stage commercial vehicles.

Following the keynote, attendees will have access to three one-hour general sessions addressing emerging vehicle technologies, ADAS integration and broader technology shifts affecting commercial vehicles. Additional breakout sessions are scheduled throughout the afternoon.
