EquipmentShare has opened a new flagship branch in Jacksonville, Florida, expanding access to equipment rentals, fleet technology and contractor support in North Florida.

The new 17,000-square-foot Core Solutions branch sits on 8.5 acres and marks EquipmentShare’s 28th location in Florida. According to the company, the Jacksonville facility is designed to support contractors working on infrastructure and industrial projects in the region, including highway expansions, port improvements, storm hardening and energy-related work.

EquipmentShare held a grand opening event alongside the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Select Florida and local community partners.

The company said each new branch is associated with the creation of 25 to 50 jobs and a projected investment between $35 million and $70 million, including equipment, capital improvements and salaries.

The Jacksonville branch combines EquipmentShare’s Core Solutions rental fleet with a CASE Power & Equipment Florida dealership, allowing contractors to access equipment rental and purchasing services in one location.

Equipment at the branch is integrated with EquipmentShare’s T3 platform, which provides real-time fleet visibility, maintenance tracking, credentialed access keypads with individual PIN codes and site security features intended to help reduce downtime and improve jobsite safety. The technology can also be added to new retail equipment, allowing owners to monitor fleet location, utilization and equipment health.

“Florida is building at an incredible pace, and our growing presence in this state allows us to be a primary partner for the massive projects taking place in this part of the country,” said Kim Anderson, general manager of the Jacksonville branch. “This facility is one of largest in our entire network for a reason: the demand here is immense. With our T3 technology, we are renting machines and giving Jacksonville contractors unparalleled control over their operations while helping them build the future of Florida.”

EquipmentShare said the Jacksonville facility is part of its broader expansion strategy. The company currently operates more than 407 locations nationwide and plans to grow to more than 700 locations in the coming years.

As part of the grand opening, EquipmentShare donated $1,500 to the Wounded Warrior Project through its “Giving Back” initiative. The company also highlighted its continued support for veterans, including its Jacksonville-based “TELEHERO” telehandler program launched in 2022, which directs 10% of rental proceeds to veteran organizations.
