The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association (CSDA) announced its 2025–2026 board of directors and presented two key industry awards during its annual leadership transition. The nonprofit organization continues its mission of supporting professionals in the concrete cutting, drilling and demolition sectors by promoting safety, standards and innovation in the use of diamond tools.

Mark DeSchepper, president of Echo GPR, has been elected president of CSDA for the upcoming term. DeSchepper played a leading role in establishing the industry’s only Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Certification Program, and he continues to serve as the program’s lead instructor. He has previously served three terms on the CSDA Board.

“Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to the role of president,” said Kellie Kimball, outgoing president and representative of Holes, Inc. “His experience will be invaluable as CSDA charts its next course.”

Joining DeSchepper on the board for 2025–2026 are Bill Fisher of National Research Company as vice president and David Perkins of Hilti as secretary-treasurer. Kimball will continue in the role of past president. New and returning directors include Ty Conner (Austin Enterprise), Brian Cox (Hard Rock Concrete Cutting), Billy Tucker (DITEQ Corporation), Dan Foley (Cobra Concrete Cutting) and Sid Kilgore (Diamond Products Limited).

The association also recognized two members for their contributions to the industry.

Dan Foley, president of Cobra Concrete Cutting, received the Outstanding Achievement Award for his long-standing service as a board member and his contributions as a volunteer bringing new ideas and initiatives to support CSDA members.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Weldon Birch, president of Cal-West Concrete Cutting, Inc. Birch has worked in the sawing and drilling industry for more than 60 years, and the award honors his decades of service and impact on the sector.
