Burwell Material Handling Opens Two Florida Branches

Burwell Material Handling has opened two newly rebranded and upgraded branch locations in South Florida, expanding its regional footprint following the company’s acquisition of W.E. Johnson Equipment Company earlier this year.

The new locations are in Doral, serving the Miami area, and Fort Myers. Each branch includes expanded parts distribution, additional service bays and increased rental yard capacity, providing customers with broader access to material handling equipment and related services.

The Doral location is at 8860 NW 24th Terrace, Doral, Florida, while the Fort Myers branch is located at 4051 Warehouse Road, Fort Myers, Florida.

“Opening these upgraded locations means faster support and broader capabilities for customers across South Florida,” said David Milanes, district director for Burwell Material Handling. “We’re excited to welcome customers to stop by, connect with our team and check out our new facilities, where we’re ready to help you find the right equipment solutions for all your material handling needs.”

According to the company, the Florida expansion supports Burwell Material Handling’s lifecycle-focused approach, which includes equipment sales, rentals, parts and service, warehouse solutions and fleet technologies.

Burwell Material Handling plans to host an open house at the new locations on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
