Bobcat Introduces Updated Compact Loader Lineup at CONEXPO 2026
Bobcat Company introduced a redesigned compact loader lineup at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, reorganizing its skid-steer and compact track loader portfolio into two categories: Classic and Pro.
The updated machines incorporate new operator technology, redesigned systems and expanded performance capabilities across multiple models.
“Nearly 70 years ago, Bobcat introduced the world’s first compact loader, defining an entirely new way to work on the jobsite,” said Mike Ballweber, president, Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. “This evolution of Bobcat loaders builds on that legacy by pairing the power and durability our customers expect with intelligence and simplicity designed for a changing workforce.”
Classic Models
The Classic category focuses on established machine performance and familiar control systems. These models are designed for applications including landscaping, rental and general construction.
Classic models include compact track loaders T450, T595, T650 and T770 and skid-steer loaders S70, S450, S590, S650 and S770.
Features include selectable joystick controls or optional hand and foot controls, two-speed travel, automatic ride control, keyless ignition and a deluxe display with an optional integrated rear camera.
Pro Models
Bobcat’s Pro category introduces additional technology and performance capabilities.
Pro models include compact track loaders T64-2, T66-2, T76-2 and T86-2 and skid-steer loaders S64-2, S66-2, S76-2 and S86-2.
The T86-2 and S86-2 deliver 115 horsepower and a 12-foot lift height.
Pro machines also include four selectable drive modes designed to match machine responsiveness to different operating conditions: Balanced, Agile, Dynamic and Charged.

The machines feature redesigned electrical systems, weight optimization for improved agility and an updated operator station with heated air-ride seats, added storage and an 8-inch touchscreen display.
“One of the major drivers of our loader evolution is accelerating the pace of innovation across our lineup,” said Brad Claus, Bobcat senior vice president of North America construction equipment. “With our shift from series to categories, we will release innovations more frequently at the model level, without waiting for an entirely new series to launch. And with new technologies in place, we can deliver meaningful updates to customers more often.”
New Jobsite Technology
Bobcat also introduced new technology options designed to assist operators.
Jobsite Companion, available on Pro loaders in the United States, is an AI-enabled system that uses voice commands, automated attachment settings and jobsite insights to simplify machine operation.

The system can automate more than 50 machine functions and includes a dashboard that tracks machine operation and job costs.
Bobcat also introduced jobsite awareness technologies including Bobcat View camera systems and Bobcat Sense Detection Systems.
The radar-based Rear Object Detection and Avoidance system can detect objects and people behind the machine and alert the operator or automatically slow or stop the loader. A camera-based 360 People Detection system identifies people around the machine and alerts operators.
“This launch isn’t just about new machines, it’s about how people work,” Claus said. “By giving operators more choice, more control and smarter technology, we’re building equipment that adapts alongside the workforce and the jobsites of tomorrow.”
The new compact loader models are expected to be available through select North American dealerships beginning in summer 2026.
