APEX by BendPak Introduces AB28 Wheel Balancer
APEX by BendPak introduces the AB28 digital wheel balancer with five- to seven-second cycle times and features for passenger and light truck wheels.
APEX by BendPak has introduced the AB28 digital wheel balancer, a new model designed for passenger vehicle, light truck, performance, and specialty wheels.
The wheel balancer is intended for one- to three-bay shops, growing service operations, and smaller garages. It features a touch-pad interface for data entry and balancing procedures, LED positioning markers for weight placement, and tiered indicators for split-weight and behind-the-spoke applications.
An automatic braking system stops the wheel at the correct position during the balancing process.
The AB28 uses digital sensor technology that provides balance readings to hundredths of an ounce. Its direct-axis drive system provides smooth rotation for measuring imbalance forces.
The wheel balancer has cycle times of five to seven seconds, according to BendPak.
“The APEX AB28 improves daily workflow with its speed, accuracy, and reliability,” says Tyler Rex, BendPak senior director of marketing. “It delivers reliable performance for smaller shops and home garages seeking quick, repeatable balance results without unnecessary complexity. Plus, it’s backed by BendPak engineering and industry-leading warranty and support.”
The AB28 also includes multidirectional quartz load sensors designed to measure imbalance forces across multiple axes, a No-Mar Quick-Nut system for securing wheels, and a cone package for passenger, light truck, and performance wheels.
The unit has a heavy-duty construction intended to support operation and service life.
