AEM Safety Manuals Added to NSC SafetyAtlas
AEM Safety Manuals are now available through NSC SafetyAtlas for equipment safety training, onboarding, and ongoing education.
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has made its Safety Manuals available through the National Safety Council’s (NSC) SafetyAtlas platform.
SafetyAtlas provides access to safety training, credentials, resources, and services from NSC and nonprofit and industry partners through a centralized online platform.
AEM said the partnership provides another way for organizations to access its safety materials for equipment operation and risk management. The manuals can be used for new-operator onboarding, refresher training, and ongoing safety education.
AEM Safety Materials have been used in construction, agriculture, and utility equipment industries for more than 50 years.
AEM Safety Manuals are consensus-based resources developed, reviewed, and approved with input from equipment manufacturers and industry experts. They address equipment preparation, safe operation, and maintenance for off-highway equipment.
The manuals are intended to complement, rather than replace, OEM operation and maintenance manuals. AEM’s collection includes manuals covering more than 50 specific types of equipment.
"AEM Safety Materials are designed to help equipment users operate and maintain machinery safely while reinforcing the safety messages manufacturers provide through their operation and maintenance manuals," said Jaime Vos, AEM senior director of safety materials. "By making these resources available through NSC SafetyAtlas, we are expanding access to trusted safety information and helping more organizations strengthen their safety culture."
The materials are now available through SafetyAtlas in addition to AEM’s online Safety Materials store.
"AEM's mission is to help build a safer industry for everyone who works with and around our members' equipment," said John Somers, AEM vice president, construction & utility sectors. "Partnering with the National Safety Council through SafetyAtlas enables us to connect more equipment users with practical resources that support safer job sites."
