FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Texas Crusher Awarded Utility Patent
RRSI offers a better way to dispose of 55-gallon drums that clog worksites and are difficult to transport with their new forklift attachment. The Texas Crusher is the first portable, easy-to-use drum crushing system. “The coating industry, to cite just one example, generates millions of drums annually,” notes RRSI President Ted Brees. “Empty drums coated with chemicals are a disposal headache. Land fills, recycle companies and salvage yards will not accept them because of the contamination and explosion risks. We have the environmental solution, which also provides cost savings.” The Texas Crusher is a quick, safe, inexpensive way to crush and dispose of 55-gallon drums. It attaches to any 5,000 to 12,000 lb. forklift in minutes. Drums are placed on a base plate and the operator then simply lifts the forks to crush them. Drums collapse and fold to a height of approximately 10 inches in a matter of seconds. Four crushed drums can take the place of one full-size drum. Companies using 55-gallon drums on their work sites will spend less time transporting empty drums and find it easier to be in environmental compliance. Crushing the drums on site will also squeeze costs out of any number of jobs. Recycle Resize Systems, Inc, based in Kaufman, Texas, is the developer and distributor of the Texas Crusher. This patented product is the first portable crushing system designed for 55-gallon drums. Contact: |
