Palmer Johnson Power Systems Celebrates the Opening of its Sun Prairie Remanufacturing Center October 10, 2006 Palmer Johnson officially opened its new 65,000 square foot remanufacturing center in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, on Thursday, September 28th. Prior to the ribbon cutting, Craig Parsons, Palmer Johnson’s General Manager, gave tribute to the employees of Palmer Johnson. “It’s not the building or its overhead cranes or its 6 test stands that are going to drive customers to this new facility; it’s the skills, talents and dedication of this great team of Palmer Johnson employees.” The entire PJ team, along with special guest Bucky Badger, cut the ribbon. Palmer Johnson’s new state-of-the-art facility, consisting of more than 50,000sf of shop space, is designed specifically for heavy-duty transmission and axle remanufacturing and service. The Sun Prairie facility is staffed with an experienced team of factory-trained service technicians. The new facility also houses a 10,000sf machining center and Palmer Johnson’s administrative headquarters. Palmer Johnson operates its remanufacturing programs as an extension of the OEM, cooperating with the OEM to design a program incorporating that manufacturer’s unique objectives.
