MODEL 4090 TREE BANDIT DEBUTS

Remus, MI~ Bandit Industries is pleased to introduce the Model 4090 Tree Bandit Whole Tree Chipper, the largest capacity whole tree chipper in Bandit's line and quite possibly the largest capacity whole tree chipper on the market.

The 36" diameter capacity Model 4090 features a large 48" wide by 41" high chipper opening and a massive 48" by 48" chipping drum equipped with a knife clamping system with babbited knives and counter knives.

The monstrous Model 4090 is equipped with a powerful feed wheel that is 34" in diameter and 84" wide with a dual planetary hydraulic drive.

A 30' long by 8' wide infeed conveyor with a unique shark-fin style infeed chain will effectively feed large diameter whole trees with multiple stems and piles of brush. The 4090, powered by a 1000 horsepower Caterpillar engine, will fill a typical 45' chip trailer in under 5-10 minutes as long as the machine is fed an adequate supply of wood. A 400 gallon fuel tank provides more than a day's supply of fuel.

A hydraulic knuckle boom loader with 27' reach a dead heal and a 42" continuous rotation grapple effectively keeps this amazing machine fed. Two backhoe stabilizers fold from the side of the machine to support the loader during operation

Operators can kick back and relax in the comfort of the roomy, climate controlled cab which boasts 92 cubic feet of interior room, 51 square feet of window area and a deluxe air suspension seat with arm rest joystick controls. A sophisticated control panel keeps the operator informed of all machine functions. The cab is well guarded with a tubular steel frame that tilts over into the infeed for transport.

The machine is easy to service and maintain. The chipper hood opens hydraulically making it easy to service the knives and counter knives. A fold away radiator debris screen and a reversing radiator fan helps keep the radiator free of debris. All pumps are mounted on twin towers driven from the clutch making it easy to service the hydraulic system.

Engine pre-cleaners reduce air filters maintenance. An auto lube system is offered as an option making it easy to lubricate all grease able points.
