United Rentals, Inc. was named one of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies for 2024, the rental giant said in a release.
The latest list, which marks United Rental’s third-straight year on the list, is a collaboration between Newsweek and Statista Inc., and involved assessment of three fundamental pillars of trust: customer trust, investor trust and employee trust.
“Trust is the cornerstone of our relationships with our employees, customers, and communities,” Craig Pintoff, United Rental’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer, said in a statement. “Being named one of America's most trustworthy companies is a testament to our team and our commitment to ethical, responsible governance and conduct across our business.”
More than 25,000 Americans participated in the independent survey, evaluating companies across 23 industries in both the public and private sectors.
United Rentals is based in Stamford, Conn. and is the largest equipment rental company on the planet, with 1,520 rental locations across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand with operations in 49 states.
