Fecon debuts the new EX300S Seismic Drill
Fecon, Inc. debuted their new Explorer Series EX300S Seismic Drill at the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary June 12-14. The compact EX300S drill is outfitted for high production in the challenges of seismic exploration drilling. Rated for up to 300' depth, standard features include a 46HP crawler with all-terrain rubber track undercarriage rated at 4.5 GPSI, a powerful 99HP on-board 300-CFM/200-PSI air compressor, a front-mounted 4" vertical drill mast with a secondary
rod holder for 20' depth at the mast, and a side-mounted rod rack making total on-board depth capacity 60'. With a combination of 10' auger rod, 10' straight rods, and an air hammer on board, the EX300S can drill soft, hard, or rocky ground without having to go back to the truck for changing conditions. Compact size of 194" L x 73" W x 94" H, and impressive maneuverability gets the EX300S in and out of tight spaces and changing terrain quickly. Options for a 9,000-lb winch, mud pump, and a 200' rod rack are also available. The EX300S will also be on display at the SEG, Society of Geophysicists, November 4-7th in Las Vegas.
